Lilypie Third Birthday tickers

Here is my first blog attempt. Work is really slow this week because nobody knows if they will have a job tomorrow so I finally have time to blog. I am so glad that the weather has finally turned nice here in MI. We got to play outside with the neighbor kids. Zach loves to play in the grass. When we set him down he just kept running his hands through it and trying to pull on it, like it was the greatest thing in the world. We also got to go on our first outdoor swing. I have never seen him so happy before. He laughed and smiled the entire time and the higher you swung him the more elated he got.
Zachary also, finally had his first trip to Cabela’s with Dad, Grandpa, and Uncle Adam. He loved the big fish tank. It was his favorite part. However, dad said that he didn’t stay up for much of the trip so it may be because he didn’t see much more than that.
Also, I have been informed that Zachary has a girl friend at school. Her name is Kate and she is the cutest girl in his class. They spend all day hugging and kissing and playing with each other. They are really close in age. This girl is so attached to Zach that every time I come to pick him up and take him home she cries (actual tears) because he is leaving her side. I am not that jealous because he is so happy to see me that he doesn’t cry to be taken away from her. I am still the number one lady in his life!

Easter

Easter was not as fun as Christmas. Even though Zach was littler I felt like it was easier to get him into the whole Christmas experience than it was for him with Easter. We didn’t get to dye eggs because Zach was too little and I would have ended up with a tie-dyed baby for the holiday. Also he was too little for the hunt for eggs since he cannot crawl or walk yet.

And opening the basket was just not as fun as the presents but maybe that was just because everyone was super tired. However, he did look so cute in his Sunday best and Koda didn’t get the Easter bunny this year.

We did get to go and play with Dee & Josh, and Becky & Rylan over the holiday which was a ton of fun. We defiantly need to make it a constant event because it was so good to see and catch up with everyone. Zachary is so close to being mobile. He gets up on all fours and rock back and forth but eventually just pushes himself backwards. Next time Zach will be able to run along with the boys. It is amazing how different a few months can make between kids when they are that age.
