Solid Foods

How-D,

Well another weekend has passed and this was had all sorts of significant milestones. First major one, flu shots don't always work. Ami came down with a touch of the flu Friday and Saturday, so that was fun. I was taking care of her, Zach and meg and koda, man can I juggle! Second milestone, Friday we were instructed to start little man on rice cereal, that's right. We got the ok from the docs and well it was and adventure today. He ate both breakfast and supper from the rice cereal today. He does really well with it for the most part. He does were some but all in all, he does good! There are a couple of pictures to show his good form. Other than that, the last semester starts tomorrow and boy am I Looking forward to it being the last one. Well enjoy the shots of Zach...as well as the jump-a-roo video. Later!

Back to the Grind

Wow,

Here goes, it is now 2 weeks post Christmas, and I think we might finally be starting to recover. Little man has managed to get his 2nd ear infection, this time it is only the right ear. The Dr. has put him on Augmentin, which they tell us is a little more potent. We will see what happens. As it stands today, Zach was supposed to get his 4 month shots on 1/9 and it doesn't look like that is going to happen, it will be just an ear check.

Now for the not so serious updates, the jump-a-roo is our new favorite thing. It fun to watch him get going in it, cause there are time where once he starts, he just can't stop. It really funny cause he gets bouncing so much, he scares himself, look for some videos on this soon...

He also has decided that it is no longer fun to wear just one out fit per day. Since we have started back at Daycare, we are wearing no less than 2 outfits a day cause pampers just can't handle the massive amount of poop this kid makes. I though my dog Koda made piles to be envious of, boy was I wrong. Daycare was amazed as to how much he had grown in the 2 week holiday break and were shocked at the rolling over thing. He still isn't liking being on the tummy for more than 5 minutes but that will come with time. You can see his little brain working overtime trying to figure out crawling though, the dogs will be in trouble when that happens.

Last night we started giving a bath in the big tub, with his little tub. We have stumbled through it now for 2 nights, and think we might be getting the hang of it, but now Meg wants to get her paws in on the cleaning fun and well that really just complicates everything. Have you ever tried to clean a baby, with a dog in the way? As for other developments, Monday Ami had a cup and was drinking out of a straw, Zach saw this and was like, oooooooh, I can do that. He reached right for the straw and put it into his mouth, it was funny stuff. He has really started to reach for the food the we are eating as well, just waiting for that time where he is successful with his reach...and we end up wearing something! Well I have to get to working on setting up the office for the final term of Grad School (yes an event 3 years in the making now)...have a great rest of the week and enjoy this picture, we sure do!
